Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is a manner of honoring the Holy Eucharist, exposed in a monstrance, with proper solemnity, to the view of the faithful for worship and devotion. We are blessed with the opportunity to adore the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday in the chapel from 8:30 a.m. until 3;00 p.m. Whether you recite your favorite prayers, read the Bible, pray a rosary, or just sit in adoration, Jesus loves to spend time with you.
To insure that there is always someone in the chapel during these hours, parishioners are invited to commit to 30 minutes or an hour per week to spend in adoration and meditation, keeping peaceful, prayerful watch in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. If your schedule cannot accommodate a visit at the same time each week, you are welcome to drop in when you can and stay for as long as you are able. To show honor and respect, one should bow and kneel on both knees, if physically able, upon entering and exiting the chapel when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed.
