On the Move: The Official E-newsletter of The Seeing Eye

Now is the time to get involved and celebrate God’s gift of life! You can make a difference!

The Respect for Life Ministry was formed at Saint James with the objective to foster respect for and protection of all phases of life from conception to natural death. Members are involved in education, awareness campaigns, support of organizations that reflect their mission, advocating for public policy that supports pro-life values and most importantly, through prayer. The group’s ultimate goal is to change hearts, minds and laws so that true respect for life will become a reality.

The Disability Awareness Group, whose function is to improve and enrich the lives of the disabled members of the parish and to raise awareness of their gifts and contributions to the community, is included under the Respect for Life umbrella. Click on the link above to learn more about the activities of The Seeing Eye in Morristown and how you can help support the fine work done to assist and support those in our community who are managing disabilities.

The Respect for Life Ministry also collects baby supplies for the Pregnancy Aid Center in Raritan, which supports pregnant women, babies and young children of low-income families

Monthly Respect for Life prayer and planning meetings are held at noon in the Pastoral Center on the second Wednesday of each month and are open to all.

What came through Him was life, and this life was the light if the human race. — John 1: 3b-4
