Top of the Hill Gang

The Top of the Hill Gang is a group of St. James men, seventy and over, who gather informally once a month for good fellowship and spiritual enrichment.  Part of the time is devoted to open discussion of issues related to our Catholic faith, the church, our culture, and other items of current interest to men of our age.  Sometimes there is a guest speaker or video tape -- to stimulate discussion.

Our contention is that men of our age are not “over the hill,” but that we have reached the “peak” of our lives.  We have experienced many ages and stages of life and have gained some wisdom and insights along the way.  We have views on what was, what is, and what may be in the future, based on our experiences.

All men of the parish who are seventy and over are welcome to attend any of our gatherings.  Contact Jack Durso at 908-647-2118.
