Share Your Bread

The Share Your Bread program offers St James parishioners a hands-on opportunity to share God's blessing with the less fortunate.

By purchasing and donating an extra bag of non perishables or canned goods once a month, we help the St Vincent DePaul Society in their work with the poor.

Donations are currently collected on the third Sunday of each month and gathered on the lower level of the Church, opposite the elevator. Share Your Bread volunteers deliver these donations to the St Vincent DePaul food pantry in New Brunswick. Our donations, along with those of other Churches and organizations, are used to provide supplemental food to approximately 200 clients each week.

In addition to the regular monthly collections, Share Your Bread volunteers are available to deliver non-perishable food collections gathered by area school and work groups.
