The Share Your Bread group promotes awareness of the needs of the less fortunate in the Diocese of Metuchen by providing a hands-on way to alleviate a basic need:  hunger. Members manage a monthly food drive (third Sunday of the month) including publicizing the event, collecting the food and delivering it to the Saint Vincent DePaul Food Pantry in New Brunswick. Deliveries are usually made on the Wednesday following the collection. Anyone who has access to a full size car, SUV or van, is able to load and unload groceries, and is free to make a weekday trip to New Brunswick once a month is encouraged to join.
