Teen Mass

Once a month, on a Sunday evening at St. James, we put together the liturgy and music program for what we call the “Teen Mass.” Of course those who might not fit the description of a teenager are also most welcome to attend. For this Mass, the liturgy, the music ministry and even the sermon are geared directly to the lives of those experiencing their high school years.

Many teens, as well as those adults involved in the youth ministry, have given their time and efforts in order to reach the teen community in a spiritual and rewarding way. They have set aside this time so that we can relate to our teen community on their level through words and song. Consult the bulletin and listen to church announcements for exact times and dates. If you’d like to take part in the Mass as a reader or as part of the music presentation, please contact Cristina Baez at the rectory office.
